I began this project in 2008. The original idea was for people to request songs for tutorial creation, including guitar and bass tutorials with the same professionalism as piano ones, and that's how this small but significant catalog was created.
Although it has had many tutorial sales over the years, life has taken me down other paths, and only 11 videos were recorded and completed, which are still available.
- What is the difference between these tutorials and other piano tutorials?
- Professionalism
- Over 30 years of playing piano, guitar, and bass.
- For over 25 years, I have been part of various professional groups as a musician, responsible for bringing the sound of the Beatles and other classic pop-rock bands to live performances.
- Teaching System Used
- Very easy and comfortable to learn, with simplicity and clarity being predominant.
- It doesn't matter if you play the piano or not, if you can read music or not, just follow the steps and the result will surprise you.
- Notes and chords are displayed on the screen, making it easier for you to learn music theory at the same time.
- The songs are sung respecting the pitch of the original version.
- The videos are explained in English, the universal language.
- What system do you use to prepare the songs?
- All the songs are learned by ear. All the music sheets I've seen over the years are full of mistakes, so I prefer to trust my musical ear.
- Preparing the songs is a very interesting process in which to study the development of the piece, I listen to all available versions of the particular song: piano demos, studio outtakes, rehearsals, live performances... After this, using various professional audio software programs, I separate the piano track from the rest of the instruments.
Since I'm a collector of bootleg material, not only audio but also video sometimes helps me to perfect the song. - Once I've studied the musician's style in particular, it's easier for me to know where they place their hands, and this makes the song sound "exactly like the original" because you'll learn the same chord inversions, style, details, and personal tricks of your favorite artist.
- How do I receive the tutorial?
- Once payment is completed through the platform, the video is sent on the spot or during the same day. It's not an automated process; I receive a payment notification and an email is sent with a link to download it from the cloud, usually from Dropbox or Wetransfer.
- Can I publish these tutorials on my website or on social media?
- My teaching system is registered, so the video property rights are limited to personal and private use.
Publishing it on the internet may lead to legal action. On platforms like YouTube, for example, it would violate privacy policies and the video would be removed, potentially leading to the cancellation of your account.
